Al Bidda Switchgear commenced operations
in 2015 and is part of the well-known Al Bidda
Group under the Chairmanship of H.E. Sheikh
Suhaim Abdul Aziz Al Thani. Located over a
14,000 sqm area in the New Industrial Area,
Doha, Al Bidda Switchgear’s plant is Qatar’s
largest first-class facility in the manufacture of
total electrical switchgear, general sheet steel
engineering/fabrication and powder coating
services. It is equipped with state-of-the-art
technology that includes a 7-stage automatic
powder coating system, Fully Automatic CO2
laser cutter, Fully Automated Turret Punch,
Automated CNC Press Brakes, CNC Copper
Cutting, Punching and Bending Systems, and
Testing, Verification, Service & Repair equipment.

The Company has entered into a technology
transfer agreement with renowned switchgear
manufacturer M/s. NATUS, Germany. NATUS
has, for over 50 years, been a key provider of
integrated electro-technical solutions, setting
the standard in innovation, safety and quality for
switchgear systems in Germany and globally.
Al Bidda Switchgear management team has over
40 years’ of international experience with some
of the world’s largest and most complex projects
in switchgear and fabrication engineering and
manufacturing.
